Kévin Vitel was born in 1980 in the suburbs of Paris.
He studied literature at the Sorbonne and then at Cambridge, working on the notions of intertextuality and inspiration in French and Latin poetry of the Renaissance. After a few years spent teaching, he resumed his studies and enrolled in evening classes in fashion design and pattern making at ESMOD. Internships in Parisian fashion houses allowed him to leave his teaching job and move to London where he was offered his first job as a stylist.
Kévin now lives in Paris where he divides his time between fashion and writing.
