Aurélie Lacroix was born in 1983 in Corrèze, France. She worked for a long time in Paris in the publishing industry, notably at Éditions de l’Olivier, before moving to Bordeaux where she has been living and working ever since. She has been collaborating with many venues in the field of live performance. Aurélie Lacroix is particularly interested in how works of art from different disciplines influence, respond to and nourish each other. She is passionate about literature and contemporary art and is sensitive to the work of Joan Didion, Sophie Calle, Nathalie Léger and Édouard Levé. L’unique objet de mon regard is her first novel.
