Novelist and screenwriter Florence Seyvos gained recognition with Les Apparitions, which won the Prix Goncourt for a debut novel and the Prix France Télévisions in 1995. Her novel Le Garçon incassable (2013) received the Prix Renaudot Poche. Une bête aux aguets (2020) was met with enthusiasm from both critics and readers. Her latest novel, Un perdant magnifique, was published in January 2025.
