Julie Fuster was born in 1988 in Grenoble. She studied philosophy and art history at the École du Louvre before spending several years in Reykjavik and Bristol, where she worked in restaurants, art galleries, and museums, while publishing short stories and poems in literary journals. She now lives in Lyon, where she writes and teaches creative writing. La femme coupée en deux is her debut novel.
