Clementine offers us a magnificent tale revisited, with the appearance of a fantastic story.

Ameline lives with her grandfather, who often tells her the same legend, a story about a rat and a flute. When he dies, the little girl has to go to an unknown village to join her new adoptive family. On the way, she meets three strange kids with strange names and wet feet. And it’s not only the kids who are strange: in the village there are dozens of cats and whistling is forbidden...

After La louve, winner of the Incorruptibles Prize 2016, Clémentine Beauvais and Antoine Déprez meet again for a new album inspired by the famous Pied Piper of Hamelin. Clémentine offers us a magnificent tale revisited, with the appearance of a fantastic story. We shiver at each page, and the splendid illustrations of Antoine Déprez are not for nothing.
