The Monte-Cristo Society: a secret organization, founded in memory of Edmond Dantes, a virtuoso hitman, that can exact revenge for you. Its first victims? Thierry Limousin, an unprincipled television producer, and François Fredonnet, the powerful and arrogant boss of the Consortium of Minerals and Metals.

An homage to Alexandre Dumas, Société Monte-Cristo revives the art of the soap opera, in a satire of a world governed by vanity and money.

The author

Born in 1950, Guy-Patrick Sainderichin is a screenwriter and, among other things, the main author of the first season of Engrenages. For the theater, he co-wrote with Julie Duclos the play Nos serments. Société Monte-Cristo is his first novel.
