Microfilm is a strange, deadpan tale of absurdity in the workplace, full of cinematic clues.

Paris, the present day. Thanks to the magic of a job agency database, an unemployed background actor becomes a “microfilm specialist” and is thus hired by a mysterious “Foundation for Continental Peace”, located on the very posh Place Vendôme. A new life as an office worker begins for him, but the atmosphere is tense at the Foundation and unfathomable power plays seem to be at work. Is the narrator still playing the part of an extra or does he have a true role here? And what does “continental peace” even mean? Little by little, more and more threatening events take place and the tension escalate to the point of tragedy…
