After a period of chaos, the Usko faction seized power, addressed the depletion of fossil fuels by rationing hydrogen, and monopolized the production of seeds and seedlings. The resistance has organized, and Salem, a young botanist with photosynthetic sensitivity who dances the hazar tango in her spare time, is approached by an underground organization to carry out a delicate mission alongside a bear trainer and an old buccaneer. Part dystopia, part adventure novel, and part polar expedition, Hazar Tango draws us into a sensual and breathless pas de deux.
