A Muslim wedding lasts three days, but for Léa and Lounès, these three days will be the three acts of an urban tragedy set against the backdrop of the chaos of the summer 2023 riots.

Lounès and Léa are getting married while France is shaken by riots following the death of Nahel Merzouk, shot by a police officer.

During these three days of celebration, in accordance with Muslim tradition, the Kacem family gathers at the community center, in the heart of Place Carrée. Outside, smoke from the barricades rises, and the sound of celebratory ululations blends with the blasts of fireworks.

Léa, a journalist for the local newspaper, has uncovered a burning story, while Lounès must defend his territory as a dealer. The newlyweds will unite during this explosive, scorching, and increasingly suffocating weekend.
