Ivan learns by phone that his friend Virgilio has been arrested and immediately taken to the Vincennes Detention Center, where undocumented migrants are locked up before being deported. He leaves to join him. After a long wait in front of and behind the gates of this center, he manages to exchange a few words with him, the last ones.
