Flower Valley is located in eastern Greenland, near the town of Tasiilaq. Pink, red and blue plastic flowers grow on the graves of the cemetery. A young woman goes there following a tragic event that has affected her in-laws. She is in love, a student, promised to the future, and yet something in her breaks in front of the majesty of the mountains. Her daily life as a Greenlandic woman trying to integrate into Danish society will accelerate, following a tightrope between darkness and bright light. She who as a child had jumped out of a window to fly away will try to regain her lost freedom at all costs.
After the international success of Homo sapienne, Niviaq Korneliussen returns with a masterpiece of hypersensitivity, humor and poetry in which she tackles head-on the difficult subject of the suicide epidemics that affect Greenland.
