Thirty-year-old Félix Pogam lives in Belleville with his partner and their baby. In the evenings, he plays guitar in bars with the nagging hope that his solo career will take off. Félix has already had a brush with fame. He and his friends had talent, audacity and osmosis. There was fever, excitement and insouciance. Label signings, records and tours; their group took off, then everything came to a halt. Félix, on the other hand, never gave up. In fact, Marc, his manager, keeps telling him that he must persevere. And yet, at the very point where existence demands it, Félix has to make a choice: pursue the dream or change his outlook on reality.

Built around the daily life of a young father and flashbacks, Tempo is the story of a man caught between a magnified past and a future yet to be built.
